I am 40 years old with a history of infertility for two and half years. I tried fertility drugs, in vitro insemination for most of the last two years without results. I work as a research scientist in a large drug company and was referred to Chinese Acupuncture Clinic by my friend who is happily become a mom with Dr. Zhai's help.

On the first visit, I was apprehensive and stressed about my situation. I was under constant stress from my job, had insomnia, anxiety, irregular menstruation cycles with severe PMS, always struggles with weight. I was not sure, if Acupuncture can help me. After a deep sleep with the needles for about 30 minutes of my first Acupuncture session, I was amazed how relaxed I felt and that night I had the soundest sleep of a long time. Next morning, I woke up felt refreshed and had incredible good energy.

I was given herbal formulas to take for supporting Acupuncture treatments in between. I got my first menstrual cycle after 5 Acupuncture treatments without any discomfort like my PMS syndrome before. The second cycle was 29 days with 5 days normal blood flow instead 38-40 days with 8-9 days heavy bleeding and cramping. I continued to feel good energy without anxiety and had good night sleep. As I was hoping and expecting my third cycle to be on time, one day I started to feel sleepy like I was going to catch a cold. Dr. Zhai recommended me to check my urine using a pregnancy kit, and the dipstick test was positive! My pregnancy was confirmed by a blood test several days later by my gynecologist.
